The Galaxy S4 is hands down one of the best smartphones on the market. With it’s durable frame, fast processor and large display, browsing the web with the Galaxy is a thing of beauty. But what about the negatives? Every phone has them, some are major and some qualify as First World Problems like, “My Galaxy is too big and I can’t hold it up with one hand to take a picture.” But what if even this flaw could be corrected? But how would you be able to still have the large screen size? Simple: curve it.
Yesterday, Samsung announced the release of the Galaxy Round, “The world’s first curved display smartphone.” Not only are they increasing the screen size, but they are also offering options such as one hand mode, that allows the user to custom place widgets so that they correspond with your unique hand size. With the new outside improvements, Samsung isn’t about to skimp on the hardware. The Galaxy Round will have, a 5.7” Full HD Super AMOLED with 7.9mm thick and weighs 154g. It will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, with 32GB or 64GB of internal memory.
It’s not clear when the Galaxy Round will be available in the US, but it will be sure to cause a stir.
