Kylie Jenner's Official App is Number 1 on App Store

Screen Shot 2015-09-16 at 2.30.22 pmIf you thought that society would fix itself one day and go back to liking classic high-quality entertainment that we once had some decades ago, here is some news for you — that day just got further away. But for those Kardashian fans, this week has been a glorious one as 4 of the 5 Kardashian sisters have all launched their own mobile app(Kourtney fans will have to wait a little). Proving herself to be the most popular among the sisters, 18 year-old Kylie Jenner’s Official App beat out her sisters’ apps, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to become the number 1 downloaded free app on the iTunes App Store. Khloe’s app and Kim’s app aren’t far behind, ranking number 8 and number 11 on the App Store, right behind Facebook. We all know that the Kardashian sisters have a massive following on all of the major social medias, but we never would have thought that this popularity can be translated and brought over to the App Store.

For those who are still wondering how did the Kylie Jenner Official App beat Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, here are the specific features about the app. The Kylie app is mainly a beauty tutorial app, the app is free to download but costs $2.99 per month for you to see all the work that she’s been teasing her followers with. Luckily, there is a free seven-day trial period to learn what it has to offer. Its features include Help! My Face Is F–ed! - Where Kylie co-hosts with Gigi Gorgeous to fix your beauty dilemmas. It also has a Looks for less section at which she breaks down her recent outfits and suggest cheaper alternatives. The rest of the features are pretty self-explanatory, such as Style Tips, Make-up Tutorials, Shopping Suggestions and Behind-the-scene Videos. There are also some extra features within the app for you to explore.

Go ahead and download the app to discover why the app is so popular, or if you are (openly or secretly) a fan of Kylie Jenner. Be sure to comment and let us know what you think about the Kylie app — I really want to know why people download it and pay the monthly subscription.
