Optimizely Now Available for App Testing on iOS

April 22nd, 2014  |  By Allison Saffiotti

Optimizely, a popular service that initially offered variations of testing for websites, has expanded to iOS. This now allows for developers to create variations of their new apps for testing.

This new mobile service offers tools for customers to create and test different interfaces and content changes to create the best possible product for app store optimization. No coding is required for these changes making this service quick yet reliable.

With this service, developers are able to make quick visual changes with instant rollout to consumers without waiting for app store approval. They also have the ability to test different features by gradually releasing to different consumers.

The idea behind this new change to Optimizely is for developers to have the ability to run mobile and web app tests from the same place. Additionally, they provide analytics to developers, where they are able to set goals to test different changes within their app in order to choose a winner.
